Photos from Summer Adventure 2021

TET Summer Adventures have become somewhat of a tradition. This year’s trip was the lengthiest both in days and kilometers. After my 4020 km ride, it is time to summarize  and share my experiences, and hopefully inspire others to do the same. Take a look at these photos, and I am sure all you wanna do is jump on your bike and do the same!

  1. Hello Edgar,

What a nice site with beautiful pictures of Norway! Norway was for a long time on the ‘to do list’ and this year it’s gonna happen. I drive with my GSA and my friend on his Triumph Tiger 800 and we’ll take the boat from Kiel to Göteborg and drive up to Kiruna. Then we go to the Lofoten Islands and going to the south near by Stavanger and in Olso we take the boat back to Kiel and finally Amsterdam were we live.
Our trip starts on may 19th en ends on june 2th so we hope the weather is good!

    Best regards,
    Gijs

  2. Thank you for your kind words Gijs! I wish you the best of luck on you adventure. May and June should be perfect time of year for the ride you’ve planned. Ride safe and be happy! 🙂

  3. I am in Cape Town, South Africa. Enjoyed your website – its good to see what Norway looks like too. Where did you get that bar for attaching your GPS? Also, does the wind deflector on top of your windscreen improve aerodynamics?

    1. Hi Godfrey! The Garmin came with all the necessary parts for me to attach it properly, including a set of RAM-mount parts. That’s what I have used. I also bought an original BMW power adapter cable so that the unit is powered only when the ignition is turned on. Works perfectly!

As for the windscreen, it does not remove wind noise entirely, but it definitely helps. I am 193 cm, and I definitely need it for a more pleasant ride. I haven’t tried any other screens, there might be something out there that is even more suitable, but this is cheap and “good enough”.
