Snow in summer

Photo galleries from My 2012 Summer GS Adventure are now out! Check out the Photos page for all photos – below you will find some samples.

It was indeed a memorable trip – although shortened somewhat due to bad weather. I did however achieve my main goal for the trip, to visit Jotunheimen and climb the majestic Galdhøpiggen at 2469 metres. We were indeed very lucky with the weather on Thursday June 26th – sunshine from a blue sky, no wind and t-shirt and shorts temperatures. I had never been to this region of Norway before, and I must say, being a tourist in my own country is underestimated. It is simply a beautiful country with postcard sceneries across every turn. And for bikers, I can hardly imagine anywhere more suited for bike riding with all the curvy and narrow roads.

Be inspired, get out riding, and ride safe folks! 🙂

On the top of the world! Well, at least on the tallest peak in Norway.
